Ginger + nutmeg white hot chocolate

In this white hot chocolate recipe, we balance the sweetness of our 28% White chocolate flakes with ginger + nutmeg for a subtle, warmingly spiced indulgent hot chocolate.

Hot chocolate recipe

Ingredients + equipment (makes 1 medium cup): 

- 28% White hot chocolate flakes
- 200ml of dairy or plant-based milk
- Nutmeg (whole)
- Ginger (fresh)
- A bowl or your favourite mug

Instructions - to make on the hob or microwave:

Heat 200ml (about one large mug) of milk in a saucepan on the hob, or in a large mug in the microwave. Make sure it doesn’t boil as this will affect the taste.

Add around 8 teaspoons of 28% White hot chocolate flakes. You can experiment with the quantity of flakes based on your taste.

Grate and add half a teaspoon of fresh ginger, and 1/8 teaspoon of whole nutmeg.

Stir until your flakes have fully melted.

Pour into a bowl or your favourite mug and enjoy your nutmeg + ginger white hot chocolate.
