Loyalty programme terms and conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully. By accessing or using this programme, you agree to be bound by the terms described herein and all terms incorporated by reference. If you do not agree to all these terms, you should not participate in this programme.

These Terms and Conditions apply to your access to, and participation in, the KNOOPS UAE loyalty programme, which is operated in the United Arab Emirates by KNOOPS UAE or its affiliated companies, herein referred to as “KNOOPS.” These Terms and Conditions do not alter in any way the terms or conditions of any other agreement you may have with KNOOPS for products, services, or otherwise.

KNOOPS reserves the right to change, modify, and/or eliminate the KNOOPS loyalty programme and/or these Terms and Conditions, or any policy, FAQ, or guideline pertaining to KNOOPS loyalty at any time and at its sole discretion. Any changes or modifications will be effective immediately upon posting the revisions to www.knoops.ae, and you waive any right to receive specific notice of such changes or modifications. Your continued participation in KNOOPS loyalty will confirm your acceptance of such changes or modifications. Therefore, you should review these Terms and Conditions and applicable policies frequently to understand the terms and conditions that apply to KNOOPS loyalty. If you do not agree to the amended terms, you must stop participating in the programme.

This programme is not targeted towards, nor intended for use by, anyone under the age of 18, in accordance with UAE law. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how KNOOPS UAE collects, uses, and discloses information about its customers in compliance with the UAE’s data protection laws.

How it works

KNOOPS UAE loyalty programme is designed to reward and thank loyal members for purchasing KNOOPS chocolate drinks and retail products.

When you opt into the KNOOPS UAE loyalty programme, you will earn 1 point for every AED 5 spent in KNOOPS stores.

You must download the KNOOPS UAE app for store use. It will not be possible to earn points on orders placed prior to joining the KNOOPS loyalty programme.

A member may only register one account. KNOOPS reserves the right to delete any duplicated accounts.

Members can earn a maximum of 400 points. Loyalty points will expire after 12 months. Where possible, we will try and notify you in advance that your points are about to expire. However, it is your responsibility to ensure that your points are used before they expire. Expired points cannot be redeemed or reinstated on the app.

Points

Points will always be rounded down to the nearest whole number when earning.

Points are linked to the email address and phone number you used to opt into the KNOOPS UAE loyalty programme. Your QR code must be scanned in-store, and you must be logged into your account. KNOOPS UAE is not responsible for any missed points for any transaction.

Members will receive bonus points once a year for their birthday. Accounts attempting to fraudulently obtain bonus points will be banned from the programme.

Members cannot change their date of birth on the app after submission. If the wrong date of birth was submitted accidentally, you may contact hello@knoops.ae to correct it. Each member represents that they will not fraudulently change their date of birth.

Points are non-transferable and cannot be shared with friends and family or transferred to a different account.

Referrer and referee will each earn 15 points when referring a friend who makes a transaction of AED 15 or more on the app. Scanning the QR code at the till will not trigger referral points.

Points can be redeemed between 30 and 70 points for specific drinks in-store. Points hold no monetary value, and KNOOPS UAE reserves the right to change redemption options at any time.

Points cannot be earned on the purchase of gift cards, gift packaging, hot chocolate makers, or coffee machines. Points cannot be earned on the KNOOPS UAE website or through delivery apps such as Deliveroo.

If a purchase for which points were earned is refunded, the points earned will be deducted from your balance.

KNOOPS UAE reserves the right to refuse service in circumstances that could affect team safety and security. Inappropriate behavior towards staff will not be tolerated and could result in expulsion from the loyalty programme.

KNOOPS UAE reserves the right to amend the point scheme at any time or withhold a customer from earning or redeeming further points. KNOOPS UAE also reserves the right to disable the app at any time, without monetary reimbursement for accumulated points.

Coffee Club Terms & Conditions

Receive 50% off selected coffees at all KNOOPS UAE stores when ordering through the loyalty app before December 31, 2024.

This offer is valid from store opening until 12 PM (midday), and orders must be placed through the app.
Drinks will be automatically discounted, and users do not need a voucher or offer.
Users must be logged into their account to redeem 50% off coffee.
Orders must be collected before 12 PM.
Additional costs, such as extras, will be charged separately.
Selected coffees include: Espresso, Macchiato, Americano, Latte, Flat White, Cappuccino, Iced Americano, and Iced Latte.
This does not include matcha, tea, or chocolate drinks.
This offer is not activated when scanning the loyalty QR code.

KNOOPS UAE reserves the right to remove this offer at any time. The discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion, voucher, or discount.

Free Drink on Download

A free drink voucher is issued when downloading the KNOOPS UAE loyalty app as a first-time user.
Free drinks are only valid for new app signups and can only be used once.
The order must be placed through the app and is not valid when scanning the QR code.
The offer is only valid for small iced or hot chocolate drinks (excludes mochas).
The offer amount cannot be used to upgrade a drink size or type.
Extras such as marshmallows, cream, herbs, and spices will be charged separately.
KNOOPS UAE reserves the right to withdraw or amend this offer at any time.
This offer is not transferable and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or discount.
KNOOPS UAE reserves the right to block any fraudulent accounts without notice.

Birthday Points

A free drink is only valid through the app after making your first purchase of AED 15.
The voucher will be valid for two weeks—one week before your birthday and one week after.
The free drink is valid on a small hot or iced chocolate.
If you sign up within the week before your birthday, you will need to spend AED 15 before your birthday to trigger the voucher, which will expire one week after your birthday.
Birthday drinks can only be issued once per year, and the date of birth cannot be updated after submission.
Birthday vouchers are not triggered by scanning the app in-store; only orders placed through the app will apply.
This offer is only valid starting October 27th, 2024. Any birthdays/points issued prior to this date are not eligible for the free drink until the user’s next birthday.
