Knoops mocha recipe
Combine the flavours of coffee and chocolate in our mocha recipe. Try iced or hot for the perfect pick-me-up for any time of day.
Our recipe for iced mocha and hot mocha below uses our 54% dark chocolate and can be made fully vegan using plant-based milk. You can also try experimenting with other % chocolates, including our 28% white.
Ingredients + equipment:
- 54% dark hot chocolate flakes
- 200ml of dairy or plant-based milk
- A shot (or two) of coffee
- A chocolate shaker
- Ice cubes
- A glass
Instructions:
Add 5 teaspoons of 54% dark hot chocolate flakes and your shot (or two) of coffee to your shaker.
Secure the lid and shake until your flakes have fully melted.
Add 200ml milk (to level 7-8) and add a few ice cubes.
Give your iced mocha a final shake, then pour over ice and enjoy.

- 54% dark hot chocolate flakes
- 200ml of dairy or plant-based milk
- A shot (or two) of coffee
- A saucepan (if making on the hob)
- Your favourite mug
Instructions to make on the hob or microwave:
Heat 200ml (about one large mug) of milk in a saucepan on the hob, or in a large mug in the microwave. Make sure it doesn’t boil as this will affect the taste.
Add about 8 teaspoons (depending on your taste) of 54% dark hot chocolate flakes and your coffee. Then stir through until your flakes have fully melted.
Pour into your favourite mug and enjoy your pick me up.
